Booking Terms & Conditions
Prices quoted are per bell tent and include all bedding, bed linen and towels for up to 4 people. Each bell tent has 1 double bed and two single beds.
Booking is limited to four people per tent, one of which must be an adult 18+. We allow up to two extra infants per bell tent if bringing your own travel cot.
Moult Hill Glamping is based on our working small holding. You will experience the sights, sounds and smells of an agricultural setting. Please be aware of farm machinery while onsite. The smallholding is home to the following animals: horses, dogs, cats, sheep, cattle, pigs, poultry and honeybees. Some of which may be free ranging.
We are in a rural setting which will allow you the opportunity to see some of lovely native animals such as bats, deer, owls, buzzards and more. While we do our best to keep them out of your bell tent, you will also find smaller wildlife and creepy crawlies.
Booking Terms
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
The full balance payment is due 14 days before arrival. Failure to pay the balance payment will result in the cancellation of your booking without a refund of any money already paid.
Any booking less than 14 days in advance of your stay must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
Booking Amendments
Please notify us as soon as possible if you would like to amend your booking, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Cancellation by you
If you wish to cancel your booking more than 7 days before your stay, we will not refund your 25% deposit. If you cancel your booking withing 7 days of your stay we will not refund you. Failure to arrive without providing a valid explanation or written cancellation will not qualify for a refund or transfer of stay.
Cancellation by us
We make every effort to avoid changing dates or cancelling bookings. However, in exceptional circumstances, this may be necessary. We reserve the right to cancel a booking at short notice if we are unable to provide safe accommodation or camping environment, due to extreme weather conditions, ill health, fire, flooding or any other extenuating circumstances beyond our control. Under such circumstances, your full payment will be returned to you including deposit. Moult Hill Glamping cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss, caused by cancellation. We strongly recommend you take out an appropriate travel insurance policy to cover any such losses.
Check in and check out times
Check in is between 3pm and 8pm. Check out by 10:30am
If you would like to arrive outside of these times, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you. In most cases it will be possible to park your vehicle before check-in time by prior arrangement.
We will not accept check in past 10pm so as not to disturb other guests on site.
Group Bookings
Moult Hill Glamping has the right to refuse or terminate the booking of any guest(s) if we feel they may be of the detriment to other guests staying onsite, or local residents. In this event no refunds will be made. Moult Hill Glamping and its facilities are intended for couples and family holidays.
Children
We welcome children at Moult Hill Glamping but insist they are always supervised and remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians.
Dogs
Sorry, we do not allow dogs to stay in the bell tents. We do not allow dogs to be left in your vehicle while staying with us.
You will not be eligible for a refund of any kind if you arrive without alternative arrangements for your dog(s).
We have our own working sheep dogs which you may see around the small holding.
Campfires
The only campfires allowed are the fire pits provided and the communal campfire- no use of any other fires are permitted. No disposable BBQ’s or fireworks are allowed.
Fires must not be left unattended; all fires must be extinguished before going to bed or leaving the site.
We reserve the right to restrict the use of fire pits where we believe there is a high risk of injury and/or harm to persons and the surrounding environment. This can be implemented at any time before or during your stay and will not result in any refund of your stay.
We provide a complimentary basket of logs for the fire pit. Extra logs for the fire pit can be purchased from us. You can burn paper or card on the fire pit but plastics or any material that can cause unpleasant smoke must not be burnt.
Gas for the Camp Kitchen
Gas for the camp kitchen is included in the price of the booking. Please use the gas cooker in accordance with the instructions and never leave anything aflame if you are not in attendance.
Day Visitors
Day visitors are only permitted by prior agreement. Fees may apply.
Vehicles
We can only accept one car per booking. There is no vehicle access to the bell tents.
We do not provide EV charging points.
Parking space is limited. Large vehicles, extra vehicles, motorhomes or trailers of any kind will only be allowed by prior agreement.
Noise
For the comfort of other guests, neighbours, and our resident animals quiet time onsite is from 10pm to 8am.
No amplified music, radios or loud digital games are allowed.
Breakages & Damage
Should any damage or breakages occur, other than acceptable wear and tear, a charge for repairs or replacement will be made. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where a bell tent has been left in an unacceptable condition, through waste, litter, interference in the structure, and contents etc. Guests will be held responsible for any fire, smoke or general damage, or alteration to the structure caused by negligence. We appreciate you letting us know of any damage or breakages as soon as possible.
Liability
Anyone defacing or causing damage to any buildings, equipment or property of the site faces immediate eviction and prosecution. The pitch hirer will be responsible for and charged for any damage /loss caused by themselves or their visitors to the pitch or to any site facility or other resident’s property. Your personal belongings, vehicles, vans and their accessories and contents are left at your own risk. Moult Hill Glamping or its staff will not be liable for the loss, theft or damage of any property nor for any injury, accident or mishap to any person whilst on site, however caused. Customers must ensure that their property is secured and fully insured for any unforeseen eventuality.
General Rules and Regulations

We can only accept bookings for a maximum of 14 nights

We reserve the right to terminate or refuse the visit of any person for any reason

All guests MUST be registered and all fees paid upon arrival

All guests should be considerate of other guests at all times.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Do not exceed 5mph while arriving/leaving the site in your vehicle.

Please do not climb fences, gates or trees. Close all gates behind you.

Please do not feed the animals or enter their enclosures/fields without the express permission of a Moult Hill Glamping staff member.

Guests are not permitted to enter the barn or concrete yard area.
The person completing the booking is responsible for the conduct of their party, It is your responsibility to read the rules & regulations and abide by the rules therein. Not reading the rules is not an excuse for infringement. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms and conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract and loss of the booking without refund.

The information provided at the time of booking is required for processing your reservation. We may use your data to keep you informed about our services, news, offers, and relevant information. If you do not wish to receive marketing communications, please inform us.
